The Research Centre for Aquaculture of the University Federico II of Naples is part of CAISIAL, the Centre of Food Innovation and Development in the Food Industry, and was established in the year 2000 as an interdisciplinary research centre for agrobiotechnology in aquatic systems. Its main activities include training, research and transfer of technology to diversify and promote aquatic products using sustainable technologies & protocols.
Training initiatives go from supporting bachelor and master university courses to Research Doctorate courses with also targeted technical professional training programmes.
